Im sorry i looked it up here it is To form the top of the diaper cake, roll up a diaper, starting at the 'open' top end. Wrap a rubber band around the rolled diaper to stop it from unrolling. This will form the center of the layer; an alternative is to use a baby bottle instead. Add 7 more diapers to the rubber band. For the middle layer, make another top as instructed in the previous steps and then add about 15 more diapers around it using a big rubber band. For the base, make another middle layer and then add about 30 more diapers around it using a big rubber band. Now that you know how big your cake will be, cut a circular base out of cardboard. Place the largest layer of the cake on the cardboard base. Or, use a decorative plastic tray or even a pizza pan from the dollar store. Remove one or two diapers and replace with a gift. Inside each layer, hide a surprise such as a coupon, a doll, some cream, or a piece of baby clothing. Once you have the gifts inserted into each layer, assemble the remaining tiers of the cake. Secure them together by carefully inserting 1 or 2 wooden dowels through the base layer and then carefully stacking the other two layers on top of it, being careful to get the dowels between the diapers and not through any of the diapers. Add a ribbon around each layer to cover the rubber bands. To finish off (and help transport) you can wrap the "nappy cake " in cellophane or netting. Tie at the top with a bow, or add a stuffed animal to the tie for a "topper " to the cake |

Just make sure the baby provides their own diapers. And between the extra crap you can scoop out and maybe a small donation (cup of spit-up, or 30 minutes of screeching), you could turn a nice profit selling these to toddlers. |

Try using the off brand diapers so you can charge a little less than everyone else. Around here they usually sell for $30 - $40 and a lot of people complain that's too much. If you can charge just a little cheaper you may sell more. |

*laughing* okay people.....a diaper cake is a stack of diapers done so in a way that looks like a cake, and tied up real pretty w/ bows. like this: amazingdiapercakes.com/ i/ Ebay%20Pictures/ Twin_Diaper_Cake_014.jpg supercoolbaby.com/ pictures/ Baby-Bee-Blue-Diaper-Cake.jpg creative-baby-shower-ideas.com/ images/ diaper-cake-12.jpg shippony.com/ coolestkid/ cakes/ diaper-cake-01.jpg velvetstrawberries.typepad.com/ andreasingarella/ images/ 2007/ 06/ 28/ diaper_cake.jpg I'd say it depends on what kind of ribbon and how many diapers you use. you want to make a profit off your designs of course. so estimate how much you spent on material and then add 25-35% for a total fee. :) |

LOL... I can only imagine what people think a "Diaper Cake " is... It really depends on the size and how fancy it is. I have seen really basic ones - diapers, ribbon, and large safety pins for decoration - for about $40 or $50. I have also seen really nice fancy ones - multi-tiered, using bottles, bibs, pacifiers, washcloths and wash sets etc for $150. Take the cost of your materials and add a fair amount for your labor. |

Lol, people don't know what a dia[er cake is. For those who don't know what they are: alexandersplayroom.com/ mm5/ graphics/ 00000001/ diaper_cakes/ 4-tier-pink-polka-dot-diaper-cake-m.jpg mmcreationsonline.com/ images/ samples/ Diaper%20cake-large-girl.JPG It depends how much you spent on making it. If you spend £60, charge it for about £40. And on from there ☺ |
