How much should you charge for diaper cakes?
do you charge a standard price like $30 for a 2tier cake and additional 15 for the things you put on it. . or does it depend on what goes on it... cause you can put things like mobils and stuff which would cost a lil more than towels and wash clothes and little things.
I'm wanting to sale the diaper cakes I make but would like to have a cute name for them! any suggestions?

I just recently started doing diaper cakes and am trying to figure out the best way to get the animals and extras to stay attached to the cake. I have tryed using safety pins but they show and don't look very professional, and i don't want to use a hot glue gun because of fear of damaging the stuffed animal.
How can i advertise diaper cakes for sale?
i make diaper cakes and are wanting to try and sell them and make custom diaper cakes to be able to stay home more with my new baby. i have them listed on craigs list and on the first day i had a lady call and order one i sold it and they loved it and i was actually givin a $10 tip for it.I just dont know other ways to advertise around town. i cant do ebaysince shipping would be way too expensive and i wouldnt get any profit for it unless i charged tripple what it cost to make. what other ways can i advertise that are better ways to advertise i have thought of making flyers with color pictures that have the pull tabs with my phone number and myspace page on it with a few pictures of my cakes i have made. i could put a sign on my car but tht can get expensive putting small flyers on doorsyou can see the cakes i have made at myspace.com kristas kakesa diaper cake is a stack of diapers that are rolled up and put together with ribbons to make it look like a cake some what to the way a wedding cake would look stacked on each other. and there are baby related items such as lotion, baby soap, bibs blankets onesie pacifiers etc
What are some good ideas for home made baby gifts besides diaper cakes and quilting?

Are Diaper Cakes Easy to Make?
Okay so I have already seen all the web sites that tell you how to make them or where to buy them at. My question is Is it easier then it looks to make one, even if your not very crafty?Also if you have made one can you give me a couple tips that you have used? thanks

Ideas for diaper cake themes?
i am starting to make diaper cakes as lots of you have probably already seen many of my other questions. Superman themed diaper cake?
My husband's best friend and his wife are expecting their first child together, a baby boy. The wife already has one child from a past marriage, a three year old girl. However this is his first child and he loves Superman. So much so that they are already talking about how to incorporate Superman into their nursery.So my husband and I are planning to make them a Superman themed diaper cake. I've already made several diaper cakes, including cow themed and Winnie the Pooh diaper cake. Problem is, there's not alot of Superman baby items on the market right now.So we're doing alot of shopping online.And I'm pretty crafty so I might make something for them as well.Any suggestions on what to buy where to buy it ? such as any superman onesies, superman bibs, superman baby toys, etc. Or any suggestions on what I could make for them? superman blanket, superman diaper wreath, etc. Basically, I just need ideas to make this diaper cake a really good one.
